Online giving for UK churches
A giving page, QR codes, regular giving and Gift Aid, all for £9.99 a month — whatever your church receives. Gifts go straight to your church’s bank, and we never take a percentage.
Made for churches in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
Keep what’s given
Some giving platforms take a cut of every gift, so the more your church receives, the more they take. GoodSeed is a flat £9.99 a month for every church, large or small. Your costs stay the same as your giving grows.
Card fees are charged by the payment provider whichever platform you use. With GoodSeed they’re Stripe’s standard rates, taken from each gift — and givers can choose to cover them, so your church receives the whole amount.
Your church keeps £840.12 more every year.
An illustration of platform fees only. Card fees apply either way and aren’t included.
How it works
No contract, no developer, no new bank account.
Add your church’s name and your details. Your giving page is created straight away, with its own web address and QR code.
Stripe checks your church’s details and bank account, usually in about five minutes. Gifts are then paid into your church’s own account.
Your slides, social images, posters and QR codes are made for you in your colours. Put the slide up on Sunday, print a poster and add a Give button to your website.
What’s included
No add-ons and no premium tier. Every church gets all of it for £9.99 a month.

Stripe takes its standard fee from each gift — currently 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards, with lower rates for Bacs Direct Debit. Givers can choose to cover it, so your church receives the whole gift. Registered charities can ask Stripe about discounted rates. See Stripe’s pricing.
Our promise
We believe what people give to their church should reach their church. So we charge a small flat fee instead of a slice of every gift, we never touch the money, and we give a quarter of our own profit to charity.
Questions
Can’t see your question? Email [email protected] and a real person will reply.
Nothing at all. Our only charge is £9.99 a month. The only deduction from a gift is the card fee that Stripe, the payment provider, charges for processing it — and givers can choose to cover that.
Into your church’s own Stripe account, which pays out to your church’s bank account on Stripe’s regular schedule. GoodSeed never holds donated money. Your church can see every payment and payout in its own Stripe dashboard as well as in GoodSeed.
A bank account in your church’s name and the details of someone responsible for its finances, such as your treasurer. Stripe asks for these when you connect. To claim Gift Aid you’ll also need your church’s HMRC charities reference.
Givers tick a box and confirm HMRC’s declaration as they give; you can also record paper and phone declarations. When you’re ready to claim, GoodSeed prepares your claim in the format HMRC’s Charities Online service expects, and you submit it as usual. HMRC pays the Gift Aid to your church.
Yes. Enter a Sunday’s envelopes in one go by envelope number. They appear in your reports and givers’ annual statements, and they’re included in Gift Aid claims where the giver has a declaration.
No — anyone can give in a few taps without one. A free account is there for those who want it: they can save a card for one-tap giving, see all their giving in one place and manage their regular gifts.
Start the £9.99 plan whenever you’re ready to keep receiving gifts online. Nothing is charged automatically: if you don’t start the plan, your giving page simply pauses until you do.
Of course. There’s no contract, and you can cancel any time. You can download your gifts and givers as spreadsheets, and your Stripe account — including the history of every payment — stays with your church.
Set up your church’s giving page in a few minutes. It’s free for the first 30 days.
